The Challenge
Tales of Alethrion has built a dedicated audience through years of storytelling and distinctive visuals set in the world of Alethrion. Alenthrion is an expansive fantasy world that features different teams of people with different motives and objectives, all connected by a map and the treasures it leads to. Every contribution needed to seamlessly integrate into an established universe while maintaining the fluidity of the character-driven scenes and cinematic action that define the series.
Working alongside the Skjaldborn team, we developed animation and artwork that felt native to the series while incorporating our expertise in traditional 2D production. Our team focused on understanding Alethrion's visual DNA. Alehrion’s tales are conveyed mainly through expressive performances without dialogue, relying solely on universal visual cues to support the narrative. We ensured every sequence fit naturally into the larger narrative world through clear silhouette design, atmospheric environments, and dynamic action staging.
Ending the episode with a climactic battle scene and an ambiguous "to be continued" cliffhanger that has fans speculating about where the next season will go.
