We’ve seen many college graduates struggle to deliver high-quality work at the level required to join Lihtar Studio’s animation pipeline. We partnered with the Animation Club School to nurture these budding professionals’ artistic and production skills through collaborative productions that mirror a professional studio. Students receive hands-on education from our experienced mentors, fueled by a passion for excellence. We provide the tools, knowledge, and feedback needed to fast-track students’ careers in 2D animation.

Why We Built the School

Lihtar Studio believes exceptional animation comes from continuous learning, mentorship, and real production experience.

We've designs a comprehensive curriculum that cultivates talent  at the same artistic standards, workflows, and collaborative mindset that drive our studio productions.Students work on hands-on projects, developing their skills and creating their first animations, all while gaining invaluable insights from our studio mentors all while participation in actual projects.

Through our partnerships with fellow studios, we help our graduates secure their first jobs, ensuring a solid start in their careers whether it be with us or at another studio.

Programs

Basics in Traditional 2D Animation

We strengthen the 12 core principles and techniques that professional animators rely on to create believable animation. From timing, spacing, and volume control to easing in and out, and so much more.

Mechanics of Motion

We focus on helping students create complex action scenes with confident control over character motion, weight, and perspective. Students will have a demo reel featuring finished battle scenes and a variety of dynamic character movements,

Acting in animation

Strong acting helps audiences connect with your characters. It also helps your animation stand out in a portfolio.

Learn how to create authentic performances with clear emotions and purposeful acting choices.

Short film creation Masterclass

Throughout the 4-month duration, the work is divided into stages, where one team completes their part of the work and passes it on to another. In any team, you will learn to work in studio conditions and see the project through to completion.

Visual Development - creating visual effects for the film: Character Design, Prop Design, Background Design, Still Frames.


Animation - producing rough and clean animation for the project.
